Will Martindale is Co-Head of Sustainability at Cardano Group. Will provides specialist input on all aspects of Cardano’s sustainability activities, including Cardano’s climate crisis action plan and sustainable investment policy. Will participates in PRI’s global policy reference group and legal framework for impact project, and co-chairs IIGCC’s policy advisory group. As Co-Head of Sustainability, Will Martindale is responsible for working across the business to accelerate the Cardano Group’s sustainability objectives. This includes Cardano's stewardship activities as well as its pledge to reach net zero greenhouse gas emissions in its investments by 2050, with a 50% emissions reduction by 2030. Will sits on Cardano's Steering Committee on Sustainability, which oversees the sustainability approach of all parts of Cardano's business, comprising Cardano Investment Management, Cardano Advisory, Now: Pensions and ACTIAM. Previously he was Director of Policy and Research at PRI, the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Investment. Will led PRI’s global regulatory affairs and public policy activities. Will has a background in banking, joining JPMorgan’s graduate programme in June 2004. In September 2010, Will joined French bank, BNP Paribas, as a business manager for their credit trading desk. Will holds a MSC in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics and a BSC in Maths from King’s College London.
